WhatsApp Admits Storing Private and Un-Encrypted Messages That Hackers Could Read

Its well known that all the messages that are sent through WhatsApp are end to end encrypted, this means that only the sender and the receiver can read the messages thanks to the power of encryption.

But your messages are not that protected. Whatsapp has been quietly storing messages in archives where they could be read by anyone who gains access to a user’s account.

End to End Encryption
The messges sent with the App are quitely synced to Google Cloud Storage. WhatsApp has admitted these are not protected by ‘end-to-end’ encryption, which could mean they are easier to hack into.
